Meet Dr. Henry Dr. Charles H. Henry, a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, came to New Hampshire in 1990. He received his D.D.S. degree in 1981 from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Henry practiced general dentistry for 5 years prior to starting his residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the Medical Center of Delaware, in Wilmington, Delaware. As a resident, Dr. Henry received the Walter Lorenz Resident Research Award from the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons for his Modification of Boley Gauge for use as a reference plane in orthognathic surgery. After completion of the 4-year residency training in Oral & Maxillofacial surgery, Dr. Henry started private practice in Keene, NH. After a year Dr. Henry was selected to receive advance training in orthognathic and temporomandibular joint surgery as a Fellow in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Baylor University Medical Center, Dallas, Texas, under the direction of Dr. Larry M. Wolford. Dr. Henry has achieved the status of a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery after fulfilment of the requirements by comprehensive written and oral examinations. Professionally, Dr. Henry has pursued a variety of research interests. He has co-authored many articles on his research in peer-reviewed journals and presented the findings at meetings of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the American Association of Orthodontists. |
