  • Mandibular retrognathia
  • Anterior open bite
  • Vertical maxillary excess with increased gingival show on smiling
  • Nasal airway obstruction secondary to inferior turbinate hypertrophy
  • Nasal tip droop
  • Increased vertical height of chin
  • Difficulty in closing her lips together
  • Bilateral dental crossbite relationship

Surgical Procedures Performed:

  • Bilateral sagittal split ramus osteotomies to advance the lower jaw
  • Vertical reduction of chin and advancement to improve soft tissue profile
  • Maxillary Le Fort I (multiple-piece) osteotomy to advance the upper jaw, expand, and close the anterior open bite and to impact the maxilla to reduce gingival show
  • Partial bilateral inferior turbinectomies to improve nasal airway
